Veteran's Services

The Logan County Veteran's Service Office proudly serves all veterans who qualify for benefits  and their dependents.

Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month (January -November) and the second Tuesday of the month in December at 1:00 P.M. in the Memorial Hall Building located at 121 S. Opera St. Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. 

Please call 937-599-4221 between the hours of 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday for a scheduled appointment as we are closed to all walk-ins until further notice.
We close daily for lunch from 11:00 to noon. 
Financial Aid is offered by scheduling an appointment Monday-Wednesday 8:30 to 3:30.  
 
 

Services Offered

  • Financial assistance such as food, rent, utilities, fuel, prescriptions and clothing. Residency requirement: 90 days within the county. Must meet monthly income guidelines and have a general under honorable or honorable discharge. 
  • Ohio Veteran's Bonus
  • Free transportation to and from the Dayton & Columbus VA Medical Centers. Also offering transportation to and from the Lima and Springfield Community Based Outpatient Clinics (temporarily in a testing phase for the CBOC's). 
  • Assistance with completing VA healthcare applications
  • Claims assistance to include: compensation, non- service connected pension, burial benefits, survivor's benefits, headstone /marker applications, etc.
